Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim Zahran

Prof. Zahran is a professor at the Department of Surveying Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, Benha University since 2008, Chairman of the department from 2013 to July 2017, Vice Dean of the faculty since August 2017, Auditor at Benha University Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center since 2017, and Member of the Permanent Scientific Committee for promoting professors of Public Works Engineering since 2019.
During his postgraduate study at Ohio State University from 1992 to 1997, he received a Teaching Associateship that provide full funding for postgraduate students. He worked as a Teaching Associate of Several postgraduate courses in Photogrammetry and Adjustment Computations at the Geodetic Science Program from 1993 to 1997.
His research areas are wide to include advanced Geomatics applications, Digital Photogrammetry, Digital Image Analysis, and Remote Sensing for mapping. He supervised several M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, and published and reviewed many papers in national and international journals and conferences.
