Started academic career in 1989, also acting as Director of Croatian State Geodetic Authority in period 1999-2012. Since 2012 Professor of Satellite geodesy at Universities in Zagreb and Split, Croatia. Founder of International Doctoral Seminar in field of Geodesy, Geoinfromatic and Geospace. Presently focused on European Earth Observation program Copernicus and its applications. Established Copernicus Office Croatia, appointed as representative of Croatia in EU Copernicus Committee and leading Croatian Copernicus Academy and Copernicus Relay team. Project coordinator on Erasmus+ BESTSDI and GEOBIZ and project team leader on EO4GEO and UN4DRR projects.
